These terms govern your use of the Easy Waka app and services provided by Dryva Service Transport System Ltd, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria ("Dryva", "we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
The service
Easy Waka helps commuters find and pay for shared transport (buses, tricycles and motorcycles) and helps registered drivers receive fares. We provide the technology; transport is provided by the drivers and operators.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older and give accurate details. Drivers must be registered at an Easy Waka office.
- Your account is active on one phone at a time. Moving to a new phone needs a code sent to your email, and transfers and withdrawals are limited for 24 hours afterwards for your protection.
- Keep your password and transaction PIN private. You are responsible for activity on your account until you tell us it has been compromised.
Your wallet
- A closed-loop wallet. The Easy Waka wallet is a closed-loop wallet: the money in it can only be used inside Easy Waka. It is not a bank account, does not earn interest, and cannot be used to pay anyone outside Easy Waka.
- What it can do: top up by bank transfer to your own dedicated account number; pay fares and other Easy Waka transport services; send money to another Easy Waka user you want to help; receive money from other users; and, for drivers, receive fares.
- Withdrawals — drivers' fares only. The only money that can be withdrawn to a bank account is the fares a driver has received from passengers, withdrawn by that driver to their own bank account (Paystack's transfer fee applies). Top-ups, and money received from other users, can never be withdrawn or sent to a bank; they can only be used to pay for transport or sent to other Easy Waka users.
- Wallets are provided with our payment partner, Paystack, and require identity verification (BVN).
- A convenience fee, shown before you confirm, is added on top of top-ups and transfers. Limits on single payments, daily spending and wallet balance apply and are shown in the app.
- Fares are paid to the vehicle's VET code. Check the code and amount before you confirm; completed payments cannot be cancelled, but you can raise a dispute in the app and we will investigate.
- We may freeze a wallet, hold funds or reverse a transaction where required by law, to investigate suspected fraud, or to correct an error.
Acceptable use
Do not use Easy Waka for anything unlawful, to defraud others, to impersonate someone, or to interfere with the service. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Our responsibility
We work to keep Easy Waka available and accurate, but the service is provided "as is". We are not responsible for the conduct of drivers, operators or passengers, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Nigerian consumer protection law.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app or at admin.dryva.ng/app/delete-account once your wallet is empty. We may close accounts as described above, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and will tell you about important changes in advance. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
